demolition derby
so maybe a little time has passed since our last post. and maybe you are asking yourselves what we are up to... here's a little peak. we're up to our elbows in drywall, tile, broken cabinets and dust. mostly dust really. jamey does most of the dirty work- a friend lent him a 4 foot crowbar which is pretty serious. it ripped up 4 different layers of linoleum. that's right, 4. we also had 4 different layers of wallpaper, all of them hideous.

You guys are so brave. We waited nearly fourteen years of marriage to attempt anything this demanding. Can't wait to see the whole house, all done over, one room at a time!

you guys are so ambitious! perhaps I should wait till a little later to come visit, although I'd really love to see how you guys manage this amazing home makeover. we'll have to talk and find a good time for me and the boys to come bug you. be in touch!
ps I like how Jamey is doing that demolition in his flip flops
i know- i told him it was a little ridiculous since the professionals wear steel-toed boots to do the same thing
