don't worry, those light sabers are standard issue. a special thanks to danielsan for reminding us why we love the japanese. speaking of, we were watching tv the other day heard this, "the japanese are awesome at technology, they just suck at being normal." hmmm... i have no idea where that is coming from.
so... not even joking but right as i was getting ready to publish this post i got an email from my brother. here is an excerpt and some amazing pictures:
this week it was a holiday obon. where the spirits of the dead come back for 3 days and then leave again. on the last day they have a dance to tell the spirits to go back. it is a huge parade!! with dancing and all kinds of interesting things.. lets just say i thought i had seen it all untill that night.. they were sending some interesting spirits back...

Unreal. Still, it makes me wonder what the Japanese really think of US. (As is Americans, not you and me in particular.) I don't have any light sabers hiding in my house, but I think I still have one of those corrugated pvc pipe things that we used to spin around in circles to get that really cool, high pitched whistley sound....
