eli had his first water fight...
and first fishing trip...
we should mention that the fishing expedition was in cherokee, nc and courtesy of the cherokee tribe all participants (children ages 3-11) got their own fishing hat, shirt, and fishing pole! there were nearly 2,000 kids there. they could fish in the river or kids 3-5 could go to this swimming pool stocked with trout. eli caught 2 fish, one for him and one for miles and we ate them for breakfast the following morning. delicious.
miles was euphoric on the boat ride...
and lake swim...
eli was less pleased with the boat ride- he hid his face under his hat in the one seat that had a wind shield and barely looked at anything while miles flapped wildly and tried to jump overboard.
somehow we managed not to take any pictures of the dog miles followed all over the house every day or the concert we went to see. the kruger brothers are an amazing bluegrass band and there were about 60 total people there. it was an awesome trip!
