greensboro
we've been touring around our new digs and here are some highlights:
1. the park- walking distance from our house, it's the largest park i've ever lived near. there is a fish pond, playground, historical battleground site, trails for walking and biking, and a science center complete with walking zoo. we plan on coming here a LOT.
2. downtown- there is a TON of stuff to do downtown. today eli and i went to the library and historical museum. these are pictures of the city center park which is surprisingly nice and quiet. you can see the cultural center where they have a hands on art gallery for kids and show outdoor movies every Friday.

3 . the small things in life- here we have a rocket/martian sculpture we found while strolling down the street. eli had his first swing ride. there's a lot of good shopping here too. i went to the grocery store and everyone was ridiculously nice- probably because i ride with eli. they gave him a balloon when we left which he tried to eat, but didn't like the taste.

Looks like a fun place to live. Much different than the desert where we dwell.
