thank you aleta for reminding me that i neglected to record my family's favorite holiday. we have a long-standing tradition of eating boiled cabbage, potatoes, and corned beef while conversing STRICTLY in Irish accents. of course this quickly devolves into pirate/British/Indian/South African... (i could go on, but some of the accents are hard to pin point really). if i was
really on the ball we would have some video for you, but all i have are leprechauns. one i made of a toilet paper roll and the other is of course our favorite leprechaun. i will end with a distressing report-- i could not find Darby O'Gill and the Little People
anywhere in this city! i was so looking forward to Sean Connery and the king of the leprechauns...

I love Darby O'Gill - and that song "She is my dear, my darling one . . ." is pretty much always in my head. Looks fun. You are so festive.
you need to tell your wee leprechaun to lay off the irish ale... looks like he just downed a pint or two and has recently come to, thinking, "where am i?? and what's this crazy thing on my head??"
oh and my new mission in life is to acquire a copy of darby o'gill because i want to watch it really badly now that i've pictured a strapping young sean connery serenading... *sigh*
