cousins

Eli got a visit from his cousin this weekend and he was VERY excited about it. For three days leading up to the event he kept repeating, "Noah, baby Noah, cousin..." over and over and over. We were very busy:
we pushed Noah around on the train:

we went to the baseball park and played at the playground:

we taught Noah to climb the stairs:
and we read books to Noah and gave nice hugs and kisses (which little cousin was not a big fan of):

Everyone left on Sunday and Monday morning after breakfast I asked Eli if he wanted to get out of his high chair to go play. he got really excited, said, "Pyay (play), Noah, cousin, pyay" and ran into the family room to find his cousin... I guess they'll just have to visit again soon.

Okay, I just had a little flashback to a day many, many years ago, when I got to be the fun aunt and Carrie and Jamey sat on my lap! Except, it wasn't reading books -- it was playing Barbies and Transformers or Gobots that kept them happy. Oh, for the good old days! (Except...I'm NOT old!)
