we got some one on one time with eli when the circus rolled into town. i have mixed feelings. the elephants made me sad inside, but 6 motorcycles zooming around in a big steel ball made me pretty happy. i just don't think elephants were made to stand on their heads or play dead.
eli had his hands on his ears for most of it because it was too "loud" in part due to the shrieking sorority girls who had the 3 rows directly behind us. they did take this nice picture of us though.
yes, those are eli's toy binoculars- that may have been his happiest moment of the night... when we gave him the binoculars. if he looks pretty wasted it's because we went to the night showing and his mouth is FULL of goldfish as per usual.
