so we decided to try putting miles in a "big boy bed" which was more like a feather mattress on the floor. when eli was ready for bed jamey called me into the room and said "look at miles". it was dark and i couldn't see him anywhere. this is where he was.

apparently the kid is used to having walls to snuggle up against and kept moving until he found one.

Too funny, and probably an inherited trick.
When Kristie was about 9 months old, all 4 kids stayed at our house one evening so their folks could go to the temple. They were all asleep in a on the living room floor so the folks could find them easily when they came to pick them up about 11 p.m. When I checked on them about 9, I couldn't find Kristie anywhere, but decided she couldn't get very far and must be around. I came back at 9:30 and she still wasn't there so I looked everywhere she might have crawled with no success. So I just started pulling the covers up to the chins of the other kids and then I noticed that there were 4 heads in the bed: Carrie was using Kristie as a pillow and had her head on Kristie's tummy!
