quiet time

i love quiet time. the boys play increasingly well together which means i have more time to peruse blogs, clean the house, play with my phone, study chinese, etc. there is good quiet time and suspicious quiet time. the good kind is interrupted by giggles or playful screams. when i don't hear anything, i grow concerned.

i reminded them we don't play in the bathroom just as miles licked the toilet. i asked eli what they were doing and he said, "we just put this (deodorant) on our tummies like daddy does". at least they were going for hygiene... until the toilet licking of course. what do you do about that anyway?
