A very special event has occurred in our household. A young man's first guitar is a significant moment in his life. Yes, it is a ukelele, and yes, it counts. He is super jazzed about it. He tucks his red pick under the strings of his red guitar every time after playing it, and puts it back in its special box in its special spot under the stairs. We've had quite a few jam sessions already-- things get real heavy, really outta sight. This kid's going to be a superstar.
Speaking of superstardom: it's been one week, and young Amadeus here can already strum up and down to a metronome perfectly at any tempo you give him AND play a couple different chords. Not that I am forcing my excitement about it onto him. Who said I was? Nobody asked you anyway.

Holy COW. What an amazing kid. (And I love his sweater -- sorry, that was random, but I do!) I can't wait to see little E in his first music video!
