he told me it was "happy, sad, turtle". basically we're banking on him becoming famous. then he can pay us back for all the diapers. parents get reimbursed for diapers right?

our little goldmine
eli loves to draw. he loves to make his parents draw too. it feels like most of my day consists of drawing fish, turtles, and a variety of happy and sad objects like squares, hearts, triangles, people, and of course- fish and turtles. eli usually adds hair and soul patches (three straight lines) to whatever i draw. there is an endless stream of requests. lately, however, he's really been honing his skills and as of yesterday he has been producing actual faces sort of. today he came up with this ALL BY HIMSELF:

The kid has obvioulsy inherited pure genious. As for diapers, have you paid your folks back for yours? When they are as cute as Eli is,they get things for free.

Wow, I am impressed. I, too, spend the majority of my day drawing and coloring. I mostly draw kitty cats and Daisy Duck, though. There's the difference between boys and girls, I guess.
So - how is Eli's eye doing? If he can draw that well - he must be just fine!

This is the work of a child prodigy, no question. I suggest getting him a set of oils for Christmas and an easel, and see what he can do with that. People will pay big money for the work of a genius! I WOULD!
I love it!! I love when drawings are so clearly real things. I still laugh when I think about how you told us he'd add hair to everything. This is a triangle. This is a triangle with hair. :)
