high flying

saturday there was a big event at the pocatello airport. if you were unaware pocatello had an airport i'm sure you will also be interested to know that according to their site, they were busier than the oakland, ca airport. (then we realized it was because of all the little flights they do at this festival)





there were a slew of planes and helicopters to look at or sit in and they were doing helicopter rides and plane rides.


we got some swag at the "VIP lounge" Miles had the plane in his hands the rest of the day.




the army brought some guns along with them and let the children shoot them. there were no real bullets, but the sight of it made me a little nervous all the same.
