James R. Kearl

On a recent trip to my grandparents house, we discovered a sculpture in the basement. It is a self-portrait by my grandfather as a younger man. In his younger days, he has been alternately an industrial designer, working on the London Underground in the seventies, an art history teacher, a carpenter, among other things. If I have any artistic ability at all it is due in large part to him, so I thought I'd get this out on the Internet for all to see. Thanks, grandpa.
